
Shirelle Jackson is the Executive Associate Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Development at the University of Miami. She oversees the office of student-athlete development, which enhances the athletic department’s efforts to develop programming for the total development of their student-athletes population. She also oversees the Hurricanes’ track and field, cross-country and rowing programs, as well as staff engagement. Shirelle currently serves on two national committees: ACC Track and Field Committee and the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross-country & Track and Field Oversight Committee. In addition to her athletic administrator duties, she is an adjunct faculty member for the University of Miami’s School of Education and Human Development. Shirelle has been at the University of Miami since fall, 2009.
She is married to Jason Jackson, who works for the Miami HEAT and mother to Justin, an assistant athletic director of compliance at Monmouth University and Jordan, a senior at Florida A & M University.
Iain has enjoyed a career spanning law, television and media. Iain began as an attorney practicing in Boston and Washington, D.C then made a big pivot into sports broadcasting with stops at ESPN and GolfChannel. Iain later served as news anchor in Houston, Philly and New York for many years.
