The 2024-25 season will mark Jason Jackson’s 21st season as a member of the HEAT broadcast team and fourth as the radio play-by-play voice. Additionally, he will continue in his role as television host for Miami HEAT games broadcast on Bally Sports Sun.

Shirelle Jackson is the Executive Associate AD/Student-Athelete Development and Strategic Initiatives. She joined the University of Miami (UM) Athletics Department staff as the Director of Student-Athlete Development in April 2014. Jackson spent the previous five years in various capacities In the College of Arts and Sciences at UM.

Jennifer Jackson, sister-in-law to Jason and Shirelle and fellow BGSU alum, is a practicing nephrologist in Dayton, Ohio.

John Buccigross was hired by ESPN on October 28. 1996. He is grateful for his 25+ years at ESPN anchoring Sportscenter, as well as a diverse and interesting array of assignments.

Liz Augustin is the Director of Leadership and Professional Development at Breakthrough Miami where she provides coaching and support to the middle school program site directors, manages the Teaching Fellow and volunteer programs and is the liaison to the Breakthrough Miami Alumni Network.

Justin Jackson, son of Jason and Shirelle Jackson, is Compliance and Student Athelete Success Coordinator, at Ferris State University in Michigan. He graduated from Ohio University with a dual Master’s in Business Administration and Sports Administration in 2023.
